KOKO Kawane
A cinematic tea atelier — from a Shizuoka farm to the cup, with ordering and a full back-of-house.

The brief
KOKO Kawane is a modern tea and matcha atelier at The Star Vista, part of GAIA Lifestyle Group: centuries of Japanese tea farming, handcrafted cakes and pastries, a contemporary fusion of Japanese and French technique. The site had to carry the farm-to-cup story with cinematic weight, take orders, and run the shop behind it.
What we built
- 01A scroll-driven film in thirteen acts — harvest, shade, stone, sip — with real-time 3D scenes, narration and grain, taking a visitor from a Shizuoka tea field to the cup in one page.
- 02Online ordering with card and PayNow checkout through HitPay; print and QR menus from the same catalogue.
- 03“Ask KOKO”, a concierge that answers menu and tea questions in the brand’s own voice, streamed and rate-limited.
- 04A back-of-house console for the team: point of sale, kitchen display, orders, dispatch, inventory, suppliers, marketing and analytics, with seams for Grab, Lalamove and Ninja Van.
- 05A CMS with the client’s approved wording locked in: a copy check fails the build if the words drift.
